- Manage overall sales functions primarily the growth of current and new customer opportunities.
- Manage and implement sales strategies for direct and rep sales force.
- Forecast and achieve short and long-term sales goals.
- Maintain opportunity database and rolling monthly forecast.
- Manage direct salespeople to ensure achieving established sales goals.
- Provide training to internal and external sales force.
- Personally direct the sales process in all key sales opportunities.
- Provide market feedback to Executive Management regarding competitive offerings, sales needs, and product development ideas.
- Build professional and trusting customer relationships.
- Develop and maintain a market awareness of trends and competition and respond accordingly.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations.
- Effectively negotiate complex sales opportunities.
- Strong track record of successful sales in commercial vehicle products
- Knowledge and experience in commercial truck industry
- Must demonstrate successful leadership and management skills
- Good organizational skills and knowledge of working with CRM systems
- Ability to travel.
- College degree is preferred but specific industry experience will be considered
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Technical or engineering aptitude
