Overview:
MobileWorks is searching for a creative storyteller with a passion for marketing, PR, and communication to build our enterprise marketing and PR machine from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have an analytical, results-oriented mindset and an ability to tell an exciting story. You’ll create, test, and measure new ways to promote our crowdsourcing services to enterprises, governments, and Fortune 500 companies. You’ll devise new customer acquisition strategies to get the word out about MobileWorks and develop a variety of retention tactics to make sure our customers stay engaged. You should know how to quantitatively measure your efforts to see progress, understand the science of A/B testing, know how to regularly share your insights, and, most importantly, be committed to making a measuable difference in the company’s success.

Your efforts at MobileWorks will help define the public face of the crowdsourcing movement, combat unemployment and poverty in dozens of countries (including the United States!), and advance the state of the art of a brand new technology.

Responsibilities:
- Pitching MobileWorks to popular media, and developing new story ideas
- Cultivating relationships with journalists and bloggers to promote our stories
- Increasing our organic traffic through SEO
- Creating a variety of marketing collateral such as case studies, white papers and reports for our enterprise audience
- Creating, measuring and improving email marketing campaigns
- Systematically testing and measuring the success each of the marketing efforts
- Devising and testing new customer acquisition and retention strategies

Your Experience:
- 2-4 years experience working in a customer acquisition or retention related marketing position
- You have experience using analytics tools such as Google Analytics and feel comfortable using A/B testing tools
- Are familiar with business-to-business marketing, ideally for a software or technology company

Your Skills:
- Have outstanding writing skills. You are comfortable crafting press releases, news stories, marketing emails, and blog posts, and you can create convincing case studies and marketing collateral
- You have “entrepreneurial spirit” (worked at a startup with less than 50 employees, founded a company or or have shown other entrepreneurial initiative)
- You are a self-starter, with the ability to get things done in an unstructured startup environment
- You are very comfortable with technology -- you just “get it” -- and you have a great sense how to help others to make sense of it

Your Education:
- Bachelors degree in marketing, business, or economics, or equivalent experience
