Mobis is not a good work place
Production Worker (Former Employee) –  Toledo, OHAugust 10, 2017
This was the worst company I ever worked for. You have to start out as a temp and the hired in people treat all temps like your not a human like them, if you happen to stand up for yourself while being disrespected you " the temp " gets the discipline !! Management is run by long time employees, so if you happen to have a problem with someone harassing you it doesn't work in your favor when going to management !!! I would never recommend anyone to work for Mobis

Great opportunity for advancement, poor management, Korean upper management does not care for employees.
Quality Engineer / Supervisor (Former Employee) –  Toledo, OHJuly 31, 2017
Production employment has a great opportunity for advancement with great benefits and vacation time. Supervision and management positions are not well balanced and lack team work principles. Long hours with little family time.

Hard, honest, stable company in the heart of the city.
The manufacturing industry is healthy and prosperous with good connections with the Big 3.
The employees are made of a highly diverse nature such as the country it serves.

Unfair to everyone
Quality Inspector (Current Employee) –  Plymouth, MISeptember 17, 2015
There always people walking around doing nothing, not helping anyone. I didn't learned much there that i already didn't know. The management was horrible, they were always changing something everyday. Most of the worker there are easy to get along with except for those that are favored by the bosses, they treat those employees like royalty and the others like they are nothing. The only thing that i enjoyed there was getting paid every week, and some of the workers.
Pros
None
Cons
Unfair, don't know what they are doing, everything all around

High pay with no life or job security
Maintenance Technician (Former Employee) –  Detroit, MIJuly 11, 2014
Spend most of your day frantic, worrying about which unsafe task you would be set to. For instance wiring on a hot circuit, working at a height without harnesses, work within 30 feet of someone spot welding a fire extinguisher bracket to a full oxyacetylene tank. Employees are made to feel as if their job will be lost at any moment. Work weeks were often in excess of 70 hours and overtime although not considered mandatory if not taken was grounds to lose your job. The above are the hardest part of the job, the only up side was the paycheck at the end of the week.
Pros
Great pay
Cons
no job security, total lack of safety, no time for yourself off the clock, little time for sleep between shifts
