About Moen

Don't care for drips? Neither does Moen. The company makes faucets, sinks, showerheads, and related products for bathrooms and kitchens around the world. Its brand name lineup includes Moen, Excalibur, Waterhill, and Woodmere; Moen's products are used in both residential and commercial buildings. The company also makes bath accessories and thousands – more... of plumbing repair products. Moen makes a line of exclusive faucets and matching accessories for The Home Depot; it also has close relationships with Lowe's and Menard. Moen is now part of newly formed Fortune Brands Home & Security (formerly Fortune Brands).

Other Fortune Brands Home & Security units include MasterBrand Cabinets and Therma-Tru; Moen is the largest single brand in the business.

Inventor Al Moen designed the first single-handle faucet in 1937. It took 10 years for Moen to get his faucets produced for the market. Today, Moen is the largest faucet maker in North America. The company has manufacturing plants in the US, China, and India. It continually expands its product line, particularly in kitchen and bathroom fixtures.

A key area of focus for product development is sustainability. Its WaterSense technology has been lauded by the US EPA for its water conservation abilities and is becoming the standard for all Moen faucets and shower heads. – less
