A typical day at work consisted of taking inbound customer inquiries in regards to their alarms systems. Calls were monitored 4 times a day to ensure that the customers needs were met. A typical day at monotronics was calling home owners in multiple states offering them a free home security/alarm system. The system included a variety of options from fire,police and medical alerts and also notifies police in seconds of a break in. My job was to convince the customers that they need this product in their home. I also let them know how – more... little it costs to safeguard their home. The hardest part about the job was getting the homeowner's credit to qualify after the lead was sent to verification. I would have liked to have had more part of the whole sale rather than just the lead generation. I learned more about customer service skills as well as home alarm systems. I enjoyed this job because I enjoy telemarketing. – less

The most enjoyable part of the job is speaking with different people throughout the United States.

When i applied and had my interview i was told i was only canceling accounts and i'll have fridays or saturdays off. none of that was true!
