A typical day at work is opening the store and checking all the jumps are safe. Counting my safe and assigning a till to my employee and making sure they open correctly and that they are aware of our daily specials. Answering phones and providing customer service to book parties/events, provide general information. Build a relationship with my vendors – more...  and communicate with them on a weekly basis. Employee schedule is posted for 2 weeks at a time. I have learned so much during my 3 years here, from talking to elders to children. Even dealing with exceptional kids has been an awesome experience here. The most enjoyable part has been the networking with others here. I can't really say that I have encountered any hard parts working at this job. Some days may be more challanged then others when it come to complaints,concerns, or my staff however at the end of the day it wasn't anything I couldn't handle. I've really enjoyed my career. Managing a place like this can be stressfull, at the same time having a good staff makes it alot easier. – less

A typical day at work during the week is pretty slow. As management we are typically making sure the weekend is set with our parties, and etc. We make sure we are ordering all products necessary. I have learned a lot within this company when it comes to management. Being with this company for so long, I pretty much know all of the in and outs. The most fun I've ever had at a job. Got to play and run around with kids as work.

Very good first job for a high school student. At first I got plenty of hours,and the work was fun.After about 2 months,I noticed my schedule was decreasing to only 1-2 days a week,usually only an 8-hr shift on Saturdays(the busiest day of the week). Policies also got stricter and minor rulebreaking was grounds for being laid off or sent home.
