It was a different experience yet helpful it one chooses to look at it from a different aspect.
Manager (Former Employee) – Garden State Park, NJ – April 4, 2016
-Know our sales goals for the day.( we had to look into the days before and then subtract from the monthly goals to come up with the daily goal.) -Provide associates with their daily goal for the day and promotions. - Ensure the store was up to standards as per company visuals standards. -Check for emails for extra task or upcoming events so that we may be proactive and spend more time with our clients. -Call and email clients on promotions and new merchandise at times take pictures and send it as well.
Had a manager who was new with the company and new with such position. Lack organization skills and was not as confident. I would suggest ways to increase sales yet not allow me to reach my full potential. I would had enjoy better my job if suggestion were heard and apply to increase sales.
I love going out of my way to assist my clients. Texting them and sending out pics of new merchandise.
Store Manager (Current Employee) – Chattanooga, TN – April 18, 2016
Working for Monsoon is fun but can be challenging at times because the way the company is set up. I have learned how to adapt but at the end of the day it is about the bottom line and what skill and requirements it takes to be successful. I work with a great team of individuals and enjoy coming to work. I love coming to work because of my customers and watching them leave with a smile on their face.
Hostess and Server (Former Employee) – Brookfield, WI – March 15, 2013
I started off as a hostess at Monsoon. I was the restaurants opening trainer for all the new hostesses hired. I would quote table times, seat people, greet people as they entered the door, also wish them a good night when they left. I became a server only for a short few months due to the restaurant closing. I did food running, and serving.
fun environment to work in with great management team.
Enjoyed the fast pace, we were always moving. Management would give you responsibility easily if you worked well. The most difficult part of the job was balancing all the tasks, as well as providing good customer service.
