Montebello, for 50 years has focused on quality, performance, innovation and customer satisfaction. Montebello is a world-class manufacturer of collapsible aluminum and laminate tubes, ink markers, aluminum aerosols and all-plastic tubes. Founded in the town of Montebello, Quebec, Canada by Europeans with roots in tube manufacturing, operations commenced in 1952. Fifteen years later, the operation moved to its present location in Hawkesbury, Ontario and has expanded six times.
The most significant growth followed major investments in 1980 by our then owners, Innocan Investments. In 1983, Montebello became part of Innopac, Inc. In 1990 Montebello Packaging became a member of The Jim Pattison family of companies. The Jim Pattison Group is the third largest privately held company in Canada with 25,000 employees, $5.2 billion in sales and $3.1 billion in assets. In 1994 Montebello became a Division of Great Pacific Enterprises, Inc.
The Montebello expansions included a number of high-speed collapsible aluminum tube lines. The new lines are state-of-the-art, high-speed (150 tubes per minute) fully automatic and computerized with printing capabilities of up to 6 colors. Our most recent acquisitions are lines dedicated to larger diameter tube business. Montebello investments added equipment to mold a variety of caps and a new line to produce marker bodies. All this equipment and technology resulted in high quality, shortened lead times and highly competitive prices.
In recent years Montebello has expanded its product line to include poly-foil and all-plastic laminate tubes. Our Pointe Claire, Quebec facility offers options to suit all your market needs. We also expanded our aluminum business with the addition of our Lebanon, KY facility. In 1999 Montebello entered into a venture to provide aluminum aerosol cans and all-plastic tubes to our customers.
Montebello continues to create history by providing innovative, high quality products. As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary, we look forward to new opportunities, challenges and successes. – less – More from ZoomInfo »
