The most unprofessional place I have ever worked
Radiology Clerk (Former Employee), Taunton, MAApril 6, 2013
Pros: to have worked as a switchboard operator
Cons: taking a full time position in the radiology department
Working as a switchboard operator was wonderful. Management and co-workers were all wonderful, friendly, and worked as a team member. The most challenging part was remembering the list of extensions for all the departments and knowing who worked in what area of the hospital. The best part was working in a department where everyone was so welcoming, – more... friendly, helpful, and a team member.
When I switch over to the Radiology Department it was the most unprofessional work environment I have ever worked in. Managment and co-workers were rude, unhelpful, didn't work as a team, everyone was out to get everyone in that department, rules were not obeyed, customer service was horrible, there was no respect, and no such thing as confidentiality. It was very difficult going into work everyday not knowing what I was going to walk into, who would be working, and what the night was going to bring. I guess that is why the supervisor, management, and co-workers have been fired since I resigned my position. – less

Loved working there. My job was my everything
RN (Former Employee), Taunton, MAJanuary 20, 2013
Pros: great benefits, '' family'', team players. regular work schedule
Cons: no breaks at times. harrased by management about ot.
I was employed at Morton on S1 for 23 years and took pride in being a part of the team. I was involved with different projects while employed there and felt I was a good employee. Unfortunately I was let go when I was having some personal issues in my life. Nothing mattered to management they let me go and no support was offered. I feel I should have – more... been offered some assistance after 23 years with a good history but the opposite happened and I am very disappointed with that. I still would recommend Morton to other people for employment. I was told I can never work there or for any steward hospital again. – less

Great first experience
Medical Records Clerk (Former Employee), Taunton, MAApril 15, 2012
Pros: everything
Morton Hospital opened a lot of doors for me at a young age. My co-workers took me under their wing and taught me many things about health care. I worked with patient information and learned what patient care consists of. I enjoyed every minute of working at the hospital.
