ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including, but not limited to, the following.
Cook foodstuffs according to menus and portions to be served. Cleans and inspects all equipment to ensure cleanliness and functional operation, directs activities of one or more workers if manager; cleans, cuts, and cooks meat, fish, and poultry; follow all procedures to ensure meals are being made economically; must have a strong work ethic and maintain excellent customer service.
COOK 2 - Manager
Does all duties in Cook 1; trains new employees; takes inventory of supplies and equipment; monitor menus and spending in order to ensure that meals are prepared economically; requisition food supplies; off-load trucks and check invoices and bill of lading for discrepancies; follows lead of site director.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Must have experience cooking either in a restaurant or cafeteria. If applying for manager position, must have management experience.
Salary: Starting hourly wage a minimum of $15.00 per hour. Commensurate with experience. This job is subject to contract award.
