Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center (doing business as McLaren Medical Center-Macomb) is an general acute care hospital serving the Macomb County area of suburban Detroit. With about 290 beds, the hospital offers such specialties as cardiac and cancer care, family practice services, home and hospice care, and emergency care. Strategy

Growing its geographic network of services, in 2012 McLaren Medical Center-Macomb opened a new facility in Richmond-Lenox, its offers includes physical therapy, X-ray/diagnostic imaging, and a laboratory blood draw station. 

That year it also expanded its technological capabilities with the addition of the da Vinci® Si HD Surgical System robotic technology. The acquisition was part of a long history of adopting surgical advancements.

Ownership

Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center was acquired by McLaren Health Care in 2006 to expand its reach into southeastern Michigan. In 2012 the medical center changed its name to McLaren Medical Center-Macomb.
