2nd generation family owned business not capable of taking company to next level.
Company president is insecure, micromanages and can't grasp complex issues (ie 4 hours behind everyone else). He's a drag on the company. Everyone tries to please him instead of him trying to keep his employees happy. Paranoid! Completely unprofessional! Best thing the president could do is go to china for 1 million a year and stay the hell away from the day to day.
Everyone is scared of the president and just keeps their heads low. Do one thing wrong and it's never forgotten.
Some people are kept on because the president trusts them, but they are the worst employees. one even harassed his employees.
Product line is great (thanks to about 15-20 people in the company that keep the place together), you get to learn a bunch about sport medicine, so you are exposed to medical devices and sporting goods. Company is at a tipping point and the company is starting to play catch up to the competition. The company could be a 250 million dollar company, instead it's around 80.
