Paralegal - Estate Planning and Administration
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Estate and Trust Paralegal to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience in Estate and Trust law. Great opportunity for a motivated self-starter who likes to keep busy.
Position Overview and Description of Duties
Produce documents pertinent to estate planning (wills, trusts, real estate deeds) and estate administration.
Maintain positive contact with clients, attorneys and staff.
Draft and prepare estate plan documents and various letters.
Prepare and organize documents in advance of meeting with clients.
Manage file organization and movement through the planning process.
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills, Experience and Education
Paralegal certificate desirable; background in estate planning preferred.
Two or more years of recent paralegal experience, preferably in the area of wills and estate planning in Minnesota, with a background in estate planning and estate administration.
Working knowledge of estate planning terminology; time entry and billing procedure; proficient computer skills particularly in Microsoft Office.
Candidate should have familiarity with a client relationship management software (CRM), ideally Time Matters or similar program and legal drafting software, such as Hot Docs or Wealth Counsel.
Works in a fast paced and collegial law office. Significant interaction with clients and law firm staff.
