Assistant Manager (Current Employee), Richmond, KYNovember 23, 2014
when getting to work we are all on the computer taking care of customers and techs that are out doing the jobs.
I have learned while working at Multiband that everyone is different and we all deserve a chance.
The Management team was great and fair with everything they did.
The most enjoyable part of the work force is the employees are like a family, – more... and everyone gets along. – less

Multiband is a scary place to work if you are not a Technician
Regional Director / General Manager (Former Employee), Paducah, KYOctober 29, 2014
Pros: opportunity to move up!
Cons: move up and get unemployed!
If you are not a Technician, then you are fair game to get used, chewed up and spit out - with no mercy.

DIRECT T.V. INSTALLER (Former Employee), shreveport laOctober 2, 2014
Pros: steady work
Cons: no breaks really, constent time constraint, and inconsistent pay
The work was mostly fine aside from some of the bad jobs you get. My problem was that my first pay check the hours i worked was 180ish for 2 weeks that was just to much for me and when i looked at the pay it came out to around minimum wage. If you get luck with easy jobs you will make a lot and have a good check if you get the hard ones that only pay – more... like $35 then well you get screwed badly. – less

Worst job ever! Stay away if you have a soul!
Technician (Former Employee), Memphis, TNOctober 1, 2014
Pros: cheap directv
Cons: everything else
Not sure how all the markets are for this company but the memphis market is absolutely horrible. Definitely need more educated individuals running things around there. Supervisors are completely unfair and have their favorites. If you don't make the favorites list, they will fill your life will complete misery. Your life is controlled from a click of – more... a button. You won't know your schedule for the day and if another employee calls out (which is like everyday), the whole "team" suffers and has to cover his/her work for the day. They supposedly want quality and quantity which is the dumbest thing i've ever heard. I couldn't complain about the money I made while employed here but you have to earn every cent. This is by far not an easy job. You must be efficient with your hands and mind to make money here. Most of the year you will be on a 6 day work week. And did I fail to mention, they work 365 days a year. Thus, you'll probably miss a couple of holidays. This is a good job for someone who is lonely, has no life, no soul, and hard working. If that person is you, good luck! – less

Service Technician (Former Employee), Grand Rapids, MISeptember 2, 2014
Pros: free tv.......big whoop
Cons: bad management, working in the freezing cold, low pay, long hours, working weekends and holidays, not being appreciated
I worked for this company for over 9 years, the majority of that time spent in the Mt. Pleasant MI office. The job wasn't great but the management here was understanding and as long as you did what was expected of you they treated you fairly. I then moved to Grand Rapids MI where I worked for 2 months and then quit due to horrible management practices. – more... I was singled out by a particular supervisor who had it out for me. I was written up 3 times in 2 months. Take into consideration I was never written up in the 9 years of working at the MT.Pleasant office. It's pretty easy to see that there's a problem when a 9 year employee switches offices and quits 2 months later wouldn't you say? I also would like to say overall this company should be ashamed of itself making their employees work holidays, weekends, Sundays, ETC. It took me getting a job with a company where I doubled my salary and am treated like family to realize just how awful this company is! I hope whoever reads this stays far away from this company. They will over work you and will not appreciate anything you do. Trust me, I worked their for over 9 years and frankly I don't know how I stayed that long! – less

Pros: free tv service, great customer service experience
Cons: healthcare wasn't good not understanding when death in family
My favorite part of the job was being independent and after getting my work info for the day I would be on my own and dealing with people. It was a ok job but the supervisors and employees always were having problems with each other.

Worse place to work
Dispatch Tracker (Former Employee), wyoming, miMarch 22, 2014
Pros: free direct tv
Cons: bad work environment, poor management, low pay
This place has several immature people working there, who are miserable gossips. Its like being in high school all over again. People there dont respect good work ethics and professionalism...instead they prefer you to join their cliques and create chaos on a daily basis. Management is very poor and they have lots of inexperienced people working as – more... managers and people who abuse their authority. They claim they stress a dress code, but all of the workers come in looking and smelling like carp, wearing old, dirty family dollar outfits and scarves on their uncombed heads. There's a lot of people who obviously come from horrible backgrounds because they bring it to work. Also, many people are involved in private ways outside of work, making it a circus/jungle of a workplace. My advice to anyone who is well dressed, well spoken, professional and looking for advancement is to go elsewhere. Mulitband is for people who cant land a career. NEEDLESS TO SAY... I QUIT and went into my career where good work ethics are appreciated and compensated fully. – less
