TITLE: DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS FOR FAMILY DINING / QSR / FAST CASUAL RESTAURANT.( Units Located California - Bay Area and Central Valley).
REPORTS TO: COO
Directly supervises, develops and supports all District Managers, unit management, as well as service team members directly or indirectly during all hours of operation.

7. Practicing excellent communication skills, verbal and written to be able to handle supervision, hiring and training of employees
8. Negotiating national contracts with vendors as needed
9. Assisting with site selection, new unit construction, conversions and restaurant remodels
10. Excellent physical stamina-job requires travelling.
Develops business plans and budgets that achieve business growth (sales and profit) and ensure innovative cost controls in all areas.
Plans and analyzes management needs and training & development of staff.
Ensures that all units are maintaining excellent brand standards.
Ensures that all units are providing a clean, safe environment for guests.
Directs operational policies and procedures for all units.
Creates a quality teamwork environment with all staff including other departments, and corporate staff.
Develop marketing strategies and provide support to corporate marketing plans that offer good benefits to units.
Provide training and supervision to all operational staff assigned that inspires motivation and leadership.
In absence of District Manager must be able to fill in personally as needed.
Investigates and/or provides support to customer complaints, employee complaints and other issues as needed.
Ensures that all units are maintained in good working order.
Ensures that all employees know, understand and practice outstanding customer service at all times.
Ensure that all units are following proper sanitation procedures and that health inspections and Food Safety Visitations are above standards.
Ensure administrative compliance - I-9’s, W-4’s, audits, We Can, Serv Safe, job descriptions, work permits and others as needed.
Provide support to COO and President on site selections, new unit construction, conversions, and remodels.
Responsible for the recruitment and selection of District Managers and General Managers.
Aware of local market trends, competitive stance and opportunities.
Creates and maintains good communication with all operation staff.
Sets a positive professional role model example in the field at all times. (behavior, attire, verbal and non-verbal communication)
District Managers and General Managers as needed.
Must have at least 10+ years of multiunit management experience

Knowledge and ability to develop business plans and financial budgets

Knowledge of all facets of restaurant operation

Must be Serv Safe certified, have completed sexual harassment training.
