Visitor Services Representative, New York, NY - October 31, 2013
A typical day at work meant meeting people from around the world as visitors made it a priority to see the only Holocaust museum in New York City. I learned how to relate to people from many different cultures and improve my customer service skills. My coworkers were easy to get along with and made working there an enjoyable experience. The hardest part of the job was dealing with the occasional upset visitor. What I enjoyed the most was working in a quiet part of Manhattan where many tourists would visit and meeting people from around the world on a daily basis.
