The expectations are extremely high, not in hours, but in performance, creativity, and 'business thinking.' Every idea/pitch/proposal has to be thought through and justified. I expect some of the negative reviews on here are from people who couldn't hack it. But it's great practice to understand how your idea will impact you, your department, your product line, the budget, the business, the business relationships, etc. You have to be thorough, you have to think through issues from every angle, and practically operate as if you were the CEO, even if you're just suggesting a company softball game. As a result, the people who thrive here are really good. I mean, REALLY good. As a result, going to work anywhere else after Music Choice is a breeze (I know, I did it myself). Another bonus, anyone is free to walk into the CEO's office with an idea and he'll be welcoming and giving of his time. Senior management are good people who really care. Also, the 401k is THE BEST in the country. It's like having a second salary. Really, it's that good.
