General Manager (Former Employee) – US – December 1, 2017
On call all the time, pressured to work not clocked in on days off to meet goals. You are basically pushed into no life. First texts from supervisor start at 8am, even on your days off. Miserable existence.
Restaurant General Manager (Current Employee) – Atlanta, GA – November 25, 2017
As a RGM you work long hours. Your shift managers make basically the same thing you do. You only make your base salary even if you work 80 hours. This company is not worth the stress it brings on to you. They will hire you back in a heartbeat if you're in a bad area because they cannot find people that want to work for them.
Meeting new people, free food
Poor upper management, terrible pay, pto plan sucks, no support
ph expert (Former Employee) – San Antonio, TX – October 21, 2017
There are patient and understanding employers. The management is awesome. The work place is full of fun and neat. The hardest part of the job is in multi tasking; you keep an eye on computer screens, as you work on current orders while serving customers.
free meals and drinks
no free breaks because you must log out and in when you are back
General Manager (Former Employee) – Cleveland, OH – September 26, 2017
As a former GM in can tell you do not work for this company. Other Wendys franchises may be different but stay away from MUY. You are overworked and underpaid. They kept cutting hours that you could use to staff the store. Lack of training for new managers and would throw them into stores and wouldn't last. Bonus lol what bonus. You bust your butt for a couple hundred dollars then they tax it 40% and hold 20% that you will see in December. If you leave quit before that you don't see any of that 20% at all. You are just a number to this company.
Its a job
Pay, bonus program, upper management, your are just a number
Crew Member (Current Employee) – Fort Walton Beach, FL – July 30, 2017
The management is complete garbage. They work their crew members like dogs and treat them like so. I was wrongly accused of many things and never tought how to do the job correctly just told what to do...
Pizza Hut Delivery Driver (Former Employee) – San Antonio, TX – May 3, 2017
Delivering pizzas is basically the entire job, staying at work till midnight isn't too bad. Well organized store, though the communication between employees was poor. The regional manager had no trouble cussing out any of her managers, new store managers were hired and cycled through quickly, no one wanted to stay too long.
Simple task, adequate number of people working creates stress free eniornment
Too much drama, managers cycled in and out, new employees every week
General Manager (Current Employee) – Ohio – May 1, 2017
Lack of training is everywhere from the top down, making your every day work life unbearable when trying to grow. Employees also are too often hired in untrained and paid more than those who have put their time in.
Crew Member (Former Employee) – Woodmere, OH – February 8, 2017
Its a fun and productive place as well as fair gain. Easy work place and honest, with very understanding management. They will teach you everything you need to know with the help of you fellow crew members.
Restaurant General Manager (Former Employee) – Burlington, NC – January 12, 2016
This company offers many chances to advance to the next position, and management strives to convey that. I have worked with many great employees over the course of the short time I was with them. My average day consisted of ensuring products were made to standard, controlling and monitoring safety of workplace, and monitoring sales.
Employee Meal, Fast paced, Fun, and rewarding
I never got payed my bonuses, and work/life balance is slightly less than acceptable.
