Customer Service - Billing and Retention Agent

Description of MyTechHelp:

MyTechHelp, a division of Saveology.com, is currently seeking South Florida’s most passionate inside sales agents. MyTechHelp is a leader in providing support across various product brands and tech devices for individuals and small businesses in need of subscription-based or instant tech help.

The convenience and quality of MyTechHelp tech support is provided to customers over the phone, remotely, or by directly accessing the customer’s computer with permission. With MyTechHelp, customers do not have to leave their homes, deal with crowded stores, or bring their devices for repair as tech help is provided right from the comfort of their own homes.

MyTechHelp covers a wide variety of products in many different categories ranging from communication devices to music players and computer peripherals and accessories. For computer assistance, Apple as well as Windows support can be provided as tech agents are highly trained on both systems.

Responsibilities:

We are currently seeking passionate and dedicated sales, billing, and retention individuals to handle inbound calls from current customers who have questions about their bill or are making an attempt at cancelling.

As our billing and retention agent, your main responsibility to is help the customer understand why their bill looks the way it does. For those customers who are calling to cancel, it is your job to re-sell and upsell the services of MyTechHelp.

Billing and retention agents will be required to take between 20 – 45 inbound calls per day, with an average talk time of around 12 – 16 minutes.

Skills Required:

  • Outgoing personality – We are interested in candidates who are not afraid to speak to others about your products and services in a professional and intelligent manner.
  • Objection Handling – Our top retention agents are those who can isolate objections, overcome them, and close the deal.
  • Some Technology Knowledge – We sell a technology support product, so parts of our requirements are that our agents are equipped with some sort of technology knowledge (PC, Mac, iPod, iPad, Hardware, Software).

Education / Training:

High School diploma or equivalent training certificate

Work Environment:

This is a call center environment – All agents will be given a phone or headset and a computer to use during their work day.

Earning Potential:

Billing and retention agents start off at a base hourly rate of $12/hour + generous commissions. All compensation will be described in full detail during the interview process.
