I have worked at MyEyeDr for 3 years and came as part of an acquisition and couldn't be happier. There are plenty of opportunities for advancement and I have been happy to be a part of it. We work hard but we also have a lot of fun while we do it and patient care is our top priority.

the only issue with this company is the pay. they do not compensate their employees for the work that is done. if they would pay just a little more money then they would not have a high turn over rate

You have the opportunity to make a difference in a patient's lives every day. You get to work with great people from the healthcare industry and really get the grasp of improving people's lives. With great health and wealth benefits, MyEyeDr. truly takes care of their associates. There are programs to develop into future leaders in addition to ongoing learning courses, both Virtual and hands on to better yourself as an Individual. Great hours compared to my previous Retail job, and I get to see my family every night. MyEyeDr. is a great place to work and I look forward to the future!

MED is a horrible company! Forget healthcare -this is a company that looks for any and every reason to charge a patient, so the "health" part lacks care. Some of the doctors are really unprofessional and rude. The hours suck; management sucks-complaints/concerns are ignored. The district managers don't even know how the offices should operate. Those above the district manager only care about the money...nothing else.

I worked here for a month and couldn't take it anymore so I had to leave. This company makes promises that they don't keep. No organization with this store at all and the general manager was sooo unprofessional. They don't care what happens in your life they expect u to be at work no matter what. The pay is horrible as well. Some locations are very organized and some will have u doing your job and everybody else's as well

This job is not for anyone who takes their career seriously. Management SUCKS honestly!!! It's so unprofessional and no one is ever on the same page. I see why everyone is leaving. Don't do it!

Horrible communication skills, a lot of favoritism managers not understanding even when it comes to patients it's a money hungry company that is inconsiderate of personal needs you can work to your full potential and do your best to succeed but they don't value ones work ethics they stall on reviews and raises you have to work weekends and late hrs and always short staffed

Super poor management starting from the top all the way down. This company does not care about the people (patients ) that come in getting a good service. They care about making money too much that everything else like good customer service or treating their employees based off of commission worked versus actual effort. The easiest part of this job is that you come in at 9 or 10 most days unless theres a meeting. So atleast you get to sleep in but if you bring up any issues to the manager. You wont be acknowledged at all.

Don't even think about working here if you have a family. There is zero work/life balance and management could care less about you having a life outside of work. You are replaceable, and they make it known.
This is not an office job. It's a retail job. Trying to get the most money out of the patient regardless of their needs.

Certain managers and doctors are not easy to work with. Need to hire employees that work efficiently and effectively to execute company goals. Most employees were very friendly and welcoming.

Horrible comoany to work for!! Management could care less about you and anything going on in someones life! All about sales and dont care about patients experience and the exam they get. Want dr to rush patients in and out of their office, no quality. Tired of being told to give input and goes in one ear and out the other... pay not horrible but ridiculous that new people get hired making more than people whi have been with the company! You have to kiss peoples butts to get anywhere in this company instead of being noticed for your hard work and dedication, but if you come from best buy youll get whatever you want! Pathetic! I am looking for another job

Dont get sucked into this terrible company. They could care less about the offices being short staffed and everyone is doing the job of 2-3 people with very low pay. Unless you came from Best Buy to work at MED then you can forget about moving up. They hire people with no optical experience and throw them in with very little training. I feel bad for the patients that are getting their product and measurements from people that have no idea what they are doing. Also, be prepared to only have a 15 min lunch break.

It is an okay job to start out. But the longer you're with the company, the more you realize you're not moving up in the company at all unless you know people. Upper management shows favoritism and only does favors for ones they like. They don't care if you have a family to go home too. Willl keep you there past scheduled time.

Honestly the worste job I have ever had and I have been in the optical field for a decade...
Management does not care about employees at all and they push sales in the most disguisting way. The company is all about the bottom dollar and could care less about the patients. It is a retail job that is it. There is is no care or compassion given to patients period! Insurance fraud left and right high turnover of employees next to zero advancement opportunities. Overall I would have given 0 stars if possible. They treat staff as if they are all expendable and hire outside for management time and time again. Steer clear of you have a soul!

Management has no communication with you. A lot of favoritism if you don't know anyone good luck you're not going anywhere with this company. Absolutely no overtime allowed if you do you have to fill out paperwork on why you had to do overtime. They don't care about anything but sales so if your not selling good luck your gonna be long gone. And the benefits they give you are horrible for your own glasses

Management sucks no raises don't care about if you get a lunch or not, don't care about if you have a family work you a lot not willing to let you get over time because they cut you hours if you do, at first you get an hour lunch then they take it away from you they treat you like dirt all they care about is money and optical sales
