Sales Executive

Position Role: To Build New Business and Generate Independent/Dillard's Sales

Location: Dallas, TX

Description:

Napoleon Perdis, Australia's leading makeup brand is seeking a motivated team member to join us as a full time Sales Executive.

This role is all about people skills, persistence and preparation. We want you to shine as you grow existing stockist businesses and open new stockist accounts.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Have own car and be willing to travel
  • Intermediate level negotiation skills preferable
  • Follow up all new business leads
  • Send out and develop information kits as required
  • Source new business leads and target key regional areas
  • Research areas for potential new accounts
  • Cold call for new accounts
  • Sell new business packages
  • Conduct new business presentations and utilize all applicable sales tools
  • Strategically sell packages to new accounts
  • Service accounts (merchandising, training, initial order, initial promotion)
  • Ensure prospective accounts fit our company criteria and guidelines to become an approved associate or partnership accounts
  • Build relationships with key industry contacts
  • Obtain intelligence on competition
  • Travel to and attend trade shows and beauty and hair expos
  • Achieve targets set
  • Travel interstate and to regional areas as required
  • Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports (additional reports as requested)
  • Actively police and monitor Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics branding for each independent Stockiest as well as implement discipline measures for unacceptable branding

Regularly visit all existing Independent accounts as per approved Journey Planner to create optimal stock levels

  • Train and develop Independent Stockist staff
  • Follow up on all inquiries and other Stockist needs efficiently
  • Conduct promotions that are successful and efficient
  • Visual Merchandising as per VM Checklist
  • Increase re-order and retail sales to plan
  • Sell-in strategy packages
  • Grow the Independents Stockist business for Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics
  • Set targets for accounts to achieve wholesale re-order budgets
  • Implement incentives

Position Requirements:

  • Diploma or certificate in makeup would be advantageous
  • Training and presentation kits are to be brought to all new business presentations and store visits in their entirety
  • Punctuality, professionalism and effective time management at all times
  • Additional duties are required as per SVP of Marketing & Sales

Dillard's Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Formal committed trainings to be booked and conducted in all stores. 2 per year
  • Formal blended training to be booked and conducted in all stores. 12 per year
  • Business review meetings to be conducted 2 times per year
  • Follow and implement training as per session plans provided by company
  • High standard of product knowledge to be attained at all times
  • Regularly train the trainer sessions and product training will need to be attended
  • Stay current on product knowledge for all cosmetic lines to remain competitive
  • Regularly visit all Dillard's accounts as per approved Journey Planner
  • Ensure a high level of customer service is provided at all times
  • While in store, greet everyone immediately with a happy disposition. Smile is a must!
  • Always visual merchandise Gondola as per VM Checklist (i.e. cleaning, dusting and arranging merchandise) and check stock. Raise stock concerns or VM concerns with Director in Charge and advise Napoleon Perdis Cosmetics VP of Sales & Education of all immediate matters
  • Service multiple customers easily and efficiently
  • Utilize make-up artistry and demonstration skills
  • Comply with all hygiene standards
  • Offer sales support whenever possible to stores
  • Build the relationship with Store Managers/DIC’s and cast members
  • Build Ulta retail business through training and developing cast members
  • Step into whatever role is needed for the benefit of the brand
  • Achieve targets set by Vice-President of Sales & Marketing
  • Travel interstate and to regional areas as required
  • Submit weekly, monthly and quarterly reports to the Vice-President of Sales & Marketing
  • Actively police and monitor Napoleon branding in each account. Implement discipline measures for unacceptable branding
