Substance Abuse Counselor, Bronx, NY 10455 - October 21, 2014
A typical day at work is that you're on your feet a lot. I learned that one must do a lot of things "fast yet accurate" in a small window of time (not all the time). Management is pretty supportive. Co-workers are friendly (and move about as fast as you). The hardest part of the job, may be dealing with two different things-and both are equally important, but you must prioritize which one you do first, and not have anyone (client, or staff) upset because of the one you choose first to do. The most enjoyable part of job, is when you can meet these deadlines, perhaps take care of both issues (above), actually make progress and have everyone happy.
