A typical day of work started with organizing the arrangement of the party and informing team of what tables they will be serving. I learned team management and organization; developed interpersonal skills. Management was fantastic except when it came to scheduling. Some of the co-workers I met at the job are still good friends of mine to this day. The hardest part of the job was trying to maintain productivity when other servers would skip shifts, which happened frequently. The most enjoyable part of my job was meeting new people every shift and the look on the clients face when the job was done to perfection.
