Pharmaceutical Association seeks communication/project manager

Plans, directs and coordinates activities of all designated projects to ensure that goals or objectives of the projects are accomplished within the prescribed time frame by performing the following duties:

Overall Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with the internal team on new business development initiatives, primarily supporting Account Executive – this can include doing research, helping to create PowerPoint presentations, coordinate surveys, extracting lists for databases, etc.
  • Develop timelines to ensure project milestones are met and project is executed in accordance with client specifications – traffic jobs through internal system
  • Work with presenters/authors and speakers to obtain project materials and ensure program integrity
  • Work with editing and creative services to develop project deliverables
  • Preparation and submission of proposals and grant applications
  • Recruit, coordinate and manage Education Center Authors and maintain contract agreements

Skill Sets:

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 4 years of experience working with a communications or marketing company
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Highly developed planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Highly developed problem solving/decision making skills
  • The ability to meet and exceed client expectations
  • The ability to meet deadlines and maintain communication with internal departments
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office
  • Positive attitude and flexibility required
  • Available to travel ( Seldom, but as needed)
