I left NCEA in 2012 - the President at that time was accused by staff of being forgetful and one who speaks but is "no action." She championed me in my work and encouraged me to take on some tough situations - only to later turn her back and blame me when outcomes were not as desirable as we might have liked. In general, I was told not to "go back there" and I made a huge mistake in doing so.
Since leaving in 2012, I have remained friendly with some directors. Unfortunately, it would appear that the situation has gotten worse.
