Delivery Route Driver, South Portland, ME - February 11, 2015
I was only employed here for a 30 day minimum and looking back, I really do not miss anything about the job. The money was great, but every driver is encouraged to gain their Class A license, with no differential received after gaining the license. The equipment (trucks, handheld devices and pallet jacks) was in horrible condition, with up to 12 trucks being out of service at any given time. The other drivers had very negative attitudes toward the company, mostly related to their given routes and their pay. Management was very enjoyable, but driver/new hire training is virtually nonexistent. Overall, the money was really the only thing I enjoyed as I just didn't meld with the rest of the employees.
