Good Entry-Level Job
Regional Programs Coordinator (Current Employee) –  Houston, TXJune 28, 2017
Workload can be a lot, requires a lot of time management and sometimes you still don't get all the work down. Recommend this to a recent college graduate. There are a lot of connections within this company for anyone's career.

Great hours and opportunities to travel, but high employee turnover and limited advancement
Grant Writer/Research Assistant (Former Employee) –  Houston, TXJune 15, 2017
Like many nonprofits the National Diversity Council has a high employee turnover rate, as they typically employ current college students and recent college graduates and have limited opportunities for advancement. Compensation and benefits packages (including healthcare and paid-time-off) are not especially competitive.. Many employees have the opportunity to travel within the US and internationally for events. Work schedule is flexible, and work week is short (36 hours). The Houston office is open only Monday through Thursdays, and Fridays are half days that are worked from home.
Pros
short work week, flexible schedule, opportunity to travel
Cons
benefits, compensation, career advancement opportunities

Senior Coordinator (Current Employee) –  NYC, NYAugust 8, 2016
Good Company to work for if looking for event coordinator experience. Lots of travel and opportunity to learn and grow. Work with Fortune 100 companies and correspond with senior leaders daily.
