Financial Operations Technician (Current Employee) –  Harrisburg, PAOctober 13, 2017
National Government Services (NGS) is a decent place to work. The environment is relaxed, but the work does challenge your skills. I learned more about the healthcare system and improved my multi-tasking skills as well as time management skills. I would say the hardest part of the job is to keep up with different workloads' deadlines and operating procedures. I do enjoy having an inviting atmosphere and co-workers with whom are very easily to get along.
Pros
We focus on team building events.
Cons
Healthcare has so many exceptions to the rules.

TEAM LEAD (Former Employee) –  Harrisburg, PAOctober 2, 2017
The department was very one sided, never would think out side of the box to better enhance the systems.

There was a lot of do as I say, and wasn't given a chance to explain why the idea may work or not work.
