Pros: Full benefits including vision, chiropractic, and auto enrolled life insurance. Weekly pay. Accrual of paid vacation time. Annual raises offered. There are some advancement opportunities. 24/7 business flexible with school schedules. The company will buy us bagels every Friday. There are Frequent potlucks. On occasion the company will show employee appreciation and cater food (i.e. El Pollo Loco, KFC, Togos, Chipotle) and on national holidays. Paid time and a half on holidays. Both management and employee staff very helpful with mentoring new employees. There are costume/ pumpkin carving contests as well as call evaluation voting for potential cash prizes/gift cards/movie tickets.
Cons: They aim to be prestigious but fall short in employee satisfaction. Loyalty and seniority are overlooked. There is a high turn over rate. Pay is variable. The work can become tedious and is very repetitive. You will not get weekends off when you're new. You will not get national holidays off unless it falls on your original day off. They micromanage down to the timing of you bathroom breaks. Breaks are short - but you will definitely get them. The cost of your headset and dispatch license will be deducted from your first paycheck.
Office and Amenities: This is a full 2 story building with finger coded entry both on exterior and interior of building. There is unlimited free coffee, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, 2 plasma TV's + netflix, a lounge room with lockers and couches, handicap accessible. Janitorial service frequently maintains cleanliness and supplies.
