Case Manager, El Paso, TX - November 11, 2017
I enjoyed training days for National Smart Health Care Services, but when it came time for the job itself it turned out to be very dangerous driving consumers around the city. In order to make your hours you have to go see consumers either at their homes or take them to their doctors appointments. The reason this job can be dangerous is because if a consumer happened to not take their medication then they could have a break down on the case manager. I felt very insecure and uncomfortable every time I had to go inside a consumer's home. Another thing I did not like about this company is that requires a lot of driving. It almost felt like I was an Uber driver because you have to go and pick consumers at their homes and if they need to go grocery shopping or just anywhere they want, you take them. You are not forced to do so but if you want to have a good upcoming check then that is how you can make your hours.
