Who We Are

We are one of the fastest-growing optical retailers in the country, operating five companies as part of our family of optical retailers – America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses, Eyeglass World, Vision Centers brought to you by Wal-Mart, Vista Optical inside Fred Meyer and Optical Centers on select military bases. We have plans to open 75 new locations annually.

Why Work For Us?

Our goal is to always foster inspiring work environments with the added bonus of career/life balance and competitive benefits. We are focused on growth and recognize that happy and productive employees are essential to these future plans.

Our retail associates work together everyday to support our vision – that everyone deserves to see their best to live their best. Providing exceptional customer service while driving sales to meet company goals are just some of the ways that these associates ensure that National Vision is successful for years to come.

We offer our Doctors the opportunity to practice within different environments, including salaried positions that eliminate administrative load, as well as sublease arrangements for budding entrepreneurs.

We also operate a lab network that has been identified as one of the most efficient and effective light duty manufacturing operations in the optical industry. With more than 600 valued lab associates, we are rapidly expanding to build the largest optical lab network in the nation.

We hope you’ll consider joining our team.

Social Mission

We put as much effort into helping our communities as we do running our retail brands. Vision Spring, Prevent Blindness Georgia, Restoring Vision, VOSH and SVOSH are just a few of the organizations that we work with to address the issue of eye health and vision correction. In 2015, we became partners with the Boys and Girls Club of America to empower children with corrected vision in the communities our retail stores serve.

Veteran Recruitment

We are proud to support all members of the United States military and remain committed to hiring veterans as part of the NVI family. Because we believe that our military veterans are valuable contributors to the workforce, we maintain strategic partnerships with organizations that aim to help veterans, transitioning service members, and military spouses find meaningful employment.

In 2015, we made an internal commitment to hire 500 veterans and/or veteran spouses by 2020. We have now committed to hiring 100 military veterans and/or veteran spouses in technology-focused positions as part of the Joining Forces initiative. Launched in 2011 by First Lady Michelle Obama and Dr. Jill Biden, Joining Forces is a nationwide initiative that calls on all Americans to rally around service members, veterans, and their families and support them through wellness, education, and employment opportunities.
