One of Central Ohio's top insurance agencies is growing and needs a Personal Lines Sales Rep to grow, acquire and retain policyholders within their designated book of business. Sales Reps will leverage a sales process and marketing strategy to increase policyholders as well as focus on retention of current client base.
The ideal candidate will be energetic, self motivated, and goal oriented. The Sales Representative will be responsible for maintaining a book of business with the assistance of a Customer Service Specialist, as well as increasing Direct Written Premium and policies in force through obtaining referrals, cross selling, and outside networking activities.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Sales Reps are expected to acquire new customers and grow premium, through proactive client acquisition methods. Sales Representatives will act as a risk manager for policyholders by identifying, assessing, and reviewing current and potential risks. Sales Rep will create a plan to offer insurance solutions to mitigate the customer’s risk.
The Sales Rep position has monthly sales quotas to meet. Also will have activity requirements to qualify for monthly incentive compensation.

- Licensed in Property and Casualty within 30 days of hire
The Personal Lines Sales position will be paid a base salary + commissions opportunities. Will be eligible for monthly, quarterly and annual bonuses based on individual and team success. Agency offers full range of medical benefits and retirement programs.
Must be present at office location during hours of operation except to meet customers for appointments or conduct pre-approved marketing activities. Must be willing to meet with customers outside normal business hours if necessary. Attire is business casual.
