Agency Owner In Training (Maryland Heights, MO)
We need a mature, reliable, courteous, friendly, professional, upbeat person looking to manage a business of their own within the next 3-5 years. The candidate will learn all operations of managing an Insurance Agency. The candidate will sell auto, home, life, business and health insurance products. We will provide all training and a professional workplace.
This will be a career path starting at the base level.
This is a salaried position with the opportunity for additional income from insurance products sold.
The preferred candidate will have experience in sales and or business with a proven track record.
Prospecting for new clients
Meeting sales expectations
Assisting insureds with billing and coverage inquiries
Obtaining information from insureds and prepare proposals
Answering incoming calls
Assisting in mailing and marketing
Beginning and end of day activities
Selling Auto, Home, Life products
Sales experience preferred
High School diploma, or equivalent but college degree preferred
Entry level to three years related experience
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Excel, in particular
Demonstrated ability to handle multiple responsibilities and projects with a high degree of detail and organization
Strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff
