Unable to forecast equates to tense work environment
Manager, Sartell, MN - May 29, 2015
While everyone is doing what they can to make the company grow and become successful, the previous CEO had a "Hire people and the revenue will follow" mentality and it hurt a lot of good people in the end. The market they have chosen requires intense investment in people and ideas but the current engineering leader has such a distinct lack of experience, it is difficult for this person to make distinct decisions and really drive forward with them. The CFO doesn't understand what it takes to run a business from an investment perspective (due to lack of an true experience outside of NativeX) and as such has hamstrung the company with truly bad decisions on how to spend or NOT spend money. Having said that: The founders have a fantastic vision for what they want to see but making it a reality given the current technology team and the decisions they have made will be very difficult at best. I urge them to really "give it a go" or else this organization may fall flat in the very near term.
