The New Brunswick Securities Commission was established in 2004 as an independent crown corporation. We have a dual mandate to protect investors from unfair, improper or fraudulent practices, and to promote the growth of New Brunswick capital markets for the benefit of both entrepreneurs and investors. Our objective is to create dynamic capital markets, – more... leading to economic independence and wealth for our province. We see an interrelationship between the two mandates. New Brunswickers can have confidence in capital markets and invest within their own province if we keep the playing field fair and properly regulated.
