I worked in two different departments at NFM. In the warehouse and in the electronics department as a Product Specialist. The sales were somewhat "sharkish" but overall it was one of the better jobs I've had.

•Uncrate, assemble and prepare product for delivery
•Stage product according to delivery stop number in a safe and neatly manner
•Inspect products for defect and communicate defects to DOC Coordinator
•Remove cancelled and rescheduled product from bays
•Look-up purchase orders, print labels, re-pick product using POPS Operating System

Great training! Management was very good to work with and for. Go-workers were great.

I enjoyed my hours and they would work with me around my schooling or whatever or times I needed. I liked the fast paced environment.

The only pro about NFM is seasonal income, aside from that it was the worst experience I could've ever had with an employer and I was there for 4 years! When I first started there they pay was hourly plus a commission, so if it was dead at least you had a paycheck, they have taken that away from the entire store, $16,000 per person!! You will need a – more... 2nd job through the summer because they will overstaff every part of the store for use in those 3 months out of the year. When I say it's good for the holidays I only mean the money you work 60 hours a week for, which they call "sick six" because you work 6 days a week, then they give you time off whenever you choose, BUT, it is UNPAID TIME OFF. They are going to the Wal-Mart employee model, so if you're a 16 year old, have fun! There's a new employee every week, they're getting rid of all the 10+ year employees because they're not lying to the customer to get a sale! – less

I worked here while also working full time as a teacher. Everything about this organization is top-notch. Managers were flexible for us part-timers, and professional.

High turnover rate with employees,so never enough help.Hours and days off always changing.Not the proper machinery for the job tasks at hand.Never any team players.

very demanding and stressful. disrespectful co workers and staff. at times the position is rewarding. must be a multi tasking person.

This company is a good company to work for as far as a retailer. Although I am trying to get out of the retail industry and into a more professional industry.

Great environment to increase management skills. Has managing sales staff down to a science and frees up sales managers to solely focus on their staff.

I have worked for NFM for 4 years. My position is extremely demanding at times but thats ok. Weekends are a must work because of the high workload.

The Omaha office envirenment is not a pleasant place to work.
Management speak about honesty and integrety, but they do not walk it out. Many good people move on.

Some department's are good to work for, others are very poor.
Not consistent. Stay away from Electronics. Consistent issues.

Demanding job for small pay, people were nice but the warehouse needs to be unionized and pay needs to increase for compensation to a job where you rarely get out of work on time and bust your knuckles getting the job done.

I would still work here if it werent for a family relocation. This is a place were you can create a 'work family'. Flexible and engaging. No complaints.

Working on the sales floor, you are on the go " if you want to make money" For the most part, schedules are set to your availability. Discount is ok, health, vision & dental could be better. 401k is great and the possibility of advancing is there if you want it.

Helpful staff, eager to train and help individuals succeed. Greet customers, find the best camera solution for the lifestyle of that customer. I work with great colleagues and a very supportive management team. My first day on the job my co-workers and management insisted on never letting any fellow employee fail.
