Second Family
Babysitter/Nanny (Current Employee), Vashon Island, WAApril 16, 2014
I love watching all three of the boys growing and seeing who they are becoming. We have come to the point where we act like siblings more than as me as the neighbor babysitter. It is a home I can go to for support and love, being called one of their own.

It's was a great one time work experience
Laborer (Former Employee), Ridgefield, WAFebruary 3, 2013
Pros: free lunch and a great work enviornment
Get up at dawn dig a couple holes put some posts in the holes fill around the posts with cement, this was a regular routine for almost two weeks because my only co workers were my cousin and neighbor and occasionally my brother the hardest part of the job was lifting the post and realigning them so that the fence fit together perfectly the most enjoyable – more... part was the end result of our hard work as an organized work crew. – less

Produtive and fun place to be with lots of activites
Babysitter (Former Employee), Boston, MAJanuary 18, 2013
Pros: n/a
Cons: cooking dinner, interacting with the kids
I was a baby sitter for my neighbor across the street, I was the first young teenager that they asked to babysit their kids, a typical day at work would be very tiring but much fun because of the 2 young kids I was babysitting they were full of so much energy and always had smiles on their little faces. what I learned was how to change a babies diaper – more... at the age of 13, learning how to cook, and how to take care of the young ones. there was no hardest part of the job the kids were well mannered and have so much respect. being able to be around these 2 young boy made my job fun and made me want to do it again. – less

Nice starting point for learning responsibility
Babysitter (Current Employee), St. Thomas, ONJanuary 21, 2014
Pros: very close to home.
Cons: low salary
A typical day at work involves taking care of the child/ren and making sure they get to bed on time.

At this job, I learned how to be responsible, how to manage money, and to always be on time.

The hardest part about this job is getting the child/ren to go to sleep or to calm them down.

The most enjoyable part of this job is working with children.
