Great place to work.
Senior Business Analyst (Former Employee) –  Phoenix, AZJuly 21, 2017
My manager allowed are team to work independently. We worked well as a team, all of us with various skill sets.

There was no 'typical' day, which made it exciting. Even after nearly 20 years, I was constantly learning.
Pros
Work from home

Some very long days

If you have a life or a family to be with don't work here
Truck Driver Class A (Former Employee) –  Harvey, LAOctober 7, 2016
There's a ridiculous fluctuation in scheduled hours, one driver has may have multiple superiors all giving different jobs to one person, they are totally unorganized, there's absolutely no respect for the drivers and on top of the equipment they expect you to deliver is junk.

company itself is good.
Manager (Former Employee) –  New York StateAugust 24, 2016
The company itself is good, great benefits, 401k, hours and salary are good and competitive.
the management right above the branches are misguided in the northeast part of the company. It is a boys club while other parts of the country are very different. Women are treated different in the company. You must be a yes only person and not think for yourself. And trust no one, not even hr.
For the customers, they lose a lot due to management. But prices according to industry are very competitive.
Equipment is old in most of the branches except the favored branches.
The issue is the northeast end of the company, the rest of the company works very good but the CEO is unaware of the true issues because it is very well hidden.
Pros
great benefits, 401k, and salary
Cons
micro managment and middle management

Never Enough Satisfaction (NES)
Mechanic (Former Employee) –  OHAugust 3, 2016
This is one of the worst companies that anyone could ever work for. The place doesn't know what management is or even how it works. Things aren't handled as an adult. Messages are always relayed or through call or text never in person. If you work for the company in the beginning you will feel appreciated and as the days go on you'll see more and more truth about the company! The pay may be good but the environment isn't. Nothing but lies, disrespect, and being stabbed in the back by the peers! The Management may act like there okay with you but in reality you could do everything above and beyond and still be hated and talked about. I personally left a career for this place because the money and the grass wasn't cleaner on the other side. JUST WATCH YOUR BACK!
Pros
pay

management and disrespect

Great coworkers, poor communication from management.
Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Williston, VTJune 18, 2016
Thrown into it with only a few hours at a computer screen with videos. Was left alone to run the show for hours in second week. Training was poor at best.Told to ask for help with anything, then reprimanded if you did. very un-involved management. Most of my coworkers expressed constant concern for loosing their job. Another location may have been wonderful, just not this one!
Pros
Work hours and staff.
Cons
Management, communication.

NES is a regionally successful company that has tried to expand into very competitive markets. Due to its smaller size it fairs better with smaller contractors.

Rental Coordinator (Former Employee) –  Memphis, TNApril 10, 2016
NES Rentals is a major corporation dedicated to its customers and its staff. My coworkers were friendly and knowledgeable. I was given support at every level from interoffice to corporate management. I enjoyed going to work every day. When faced with a difficult decision regarding my health, NES Rentals could not have been more supportive and helpful. I will forever be grateful for having the opportunity to work for NES Rentals.

Truck Driver (former employee)
transportation engineer (Former Employee) –  N Charleston, SCApril 4, 2015
NES in a whole as a company is a great place to work. They take really good care of their employees from the corporate stand point. Safety is a big aspect for this company and that's one of many things that I liked about it. Now for the bad part if your looking to work for the N Charleston branch you better get used to someone always looking over your shoulder. Treating you like you can't do the job that they hired you for even though you have been doing it for 20+ years and the person telling you how to do your job doesn't even have a clue on how to start the truck. This branch might look good on paper but it needs a lot of work when it comes to morale. On a good note if you really like to kiss the boss' butt then you will fit in just fine but you might have some stiff competition.
Pros
corporate takes really good care of the employees and safety is a really big deal with the company.
Cons
The N Charleston branch sucks in every aspect.

Nes Rentals is a good place to work. The people are nice and good to work with. With every job there will be pros and cons, but the pros definately outway the cons. I have learned how to manage schedules much more efficiently. Working here has really been a good help to me.
