production
Production Associate (Former Employee), Springville, UT – May 19, 2013
Pros: we did get free lunch but then they changed it to bring your own.
Cons: short breaks and one halif hour break for lunch.
Nestle is good place to work if you like to make a lot of money. I liked it at firist. But it was hard to stand on a line for 10 hours a day. I think my age was part of that.they were very strick. I was having personal problems and they did not care and they let me go after 10 years. So if you like a company that does not care about you there ware to – more... go. – less

Great products, Fortune 50 company
Route Sales Representative (Current Employee), Dracut, MA – May 6, 2013
Pros: great company
Cons: days are too long. compensation is inadequate.
Nestle treats their employees well. That being said, they just integrated Pizza and Ice Cream together. There are many kinks to be ironed out. A typical day last from 12- 14 hours and the compensation for these hours is not what it should be.

Route Sales Representative (Current Employee), Carson, CA – May 4, 2013
Pros: health, dental benefits, 401k
Cons: no promoting within
My day starts off with a pre-trip inspection on my delivery truck, verifying my truck's delivery load. Drive and deliver my presold orders I had placed the last delivery day for my assigned accounts for the day.The hardest part of my job would have to be the frequent lifting of heavy packages. Other then that, I work and have great co workers, we all – more... work together and help each other out. – less

The workplace is fun, and very produtive.
Associate (Current Employee), Mount Sterling, KY – April 14, 2013
Pros: the co-workers are very friendly and helpful
Cons: short breaks, and very hot
On 3rd shift at Nestle we come in at 9:30, 2nd shift is still there so we clean computers, sinks, and floors. then when 2nd shift leaves we take apart the equipment and clean them with high pressure water. Then after we get done cleaning them we put them back together. The hardest part about the job is getting everything done before production comes – more... in. The most enjoyable part of the job is the people I work with. everyone is very friendly and nice. – less

Perfect job for me
SBT Auditor (Former Employee), Indianapolis, IN – April 6, 2013
The job was self-managing. I made my own quarterly schedule, worked independently, and created good relationships with my customers. My primary job was to take inventory of Nestle frozen products found in SBT customer locations. Management was located in another state so my contact was limited to occasional phone calls. The hardest part of my job was – more... having to deal with packed back stock freezers. Typically, our product would be stored at the back of their freezers so I would have to pull out all product blocking in order to get to ours. – less
