A typical day at work would be doing my trash route then going back up and cleaning all the labs and offices on my route. co workers were very friendly. theres wasnt anything realyl hard about the job it was pretty simple as long as you paid attention and got your job done correctly.

Nestle is good place to work if you like to make a lot of money. I liked it at firist. But it was hard to stand on a line for 10 hours a day. I think my age was part of that.they were very strick. Nestle treats their employees well. That being said, they just integrated Pizza and Ice Cream together. There are many kinks to be ironed out. A typical day last from 12- 14 hours and the compensation for these hours is not what it should be.

My day starts off with a pre-trip inspection on my delivery truck, verifying my truck's delivery load. I enjoy working for Nestle and have gained a lot of knowledge thrugh the years.

Pick orders and load and unload trucks with forklift. Forklift operating was great. Stacking would be the worst part. Cowokers were good.

I provide a full range of administrative support to the Finance team, Manager’s, and Front Line employees for VA, NC, SC, TN and GA. Responsibilities include the below.
• Primary contact to enter local PB2 promotions for select. (Customers/Distributors/Foodservice customers).
• Make necessary change to existing promos based on business requirements.

• Application and research of invoices for scan bill back, ad fees and other promotional expenses.
• Generate and Distribute promo calendars to necessary Sales staff.

• Processed Payments on AMEX P-Card and reconciled coding on a monthly basis.
• Maintain pricing list and product listings to keep contracts up to date.
• Maintain authorization lists including new products and specific accounts.
• Update Item Maintenance and account updates in IMREX.
• Coordinate and maintain some national accounts working with various account managers.
• Attend monthly A/R Aging Review and Follow up on Issues.
• Maintain DOT file on employees, trucks and safety supplies.
• Provide administrative support to relevant sales team for contract maintenance, new item presentations and product discontinuation.
• Completion of Special Projects and other duties as assigned
• Perform Quarterly Testing (SOX) Process.
• Maintain EQP for freezers moves.
• Utilize GLOBE/SAP to generate Purchase Orders against Distribution Purchase Requisitions.
• Manage aging levels for specific NDSD Region by working closely with DC Mangers to obtain PO approval.
• Work with vendors/DC Mangers to resolve invoice exceptions.
• Manage and execute Distribution year end close activities in the area of P2P. – less

you have to be at work at 3 in the morning for first shift and it sucks

Nestle is a family company. You can work here for life and there is always new opportunities or experiences.

Joined Nestle while in collage as coop student. Graduated and was hired back as production supervisor with packaging degree. Had many opportunities and advance with great exposure to many areas of operations management to include Human Sesources, warehouse distribution and logistics. very scope of the place was bad and lacked leadership as well as team work.

On 3rd shift at Nestle we come in at 9:30, 2nd shift is still there so we clean computers, sinks, and floors. then when 2nd shift leaves we take apart the equipment and clean them with high pressure water. Everyone works hard to get the job done also its a team effort

The job was self-managing. I made my own quarterly schedule, worked independently, and created good relationships with my customers. My primary job was to take inventory of Nestle frozen products found in SBT customer locations. Management was located in another state so my contact was limited to occasional phone calls. no work life balance, pays well, 75% of the day in meetings, Good professional co-corkers, Upper Management has no concern with you spending time with your family. The heardest part of the job is calls 24/7 365. Most enjoyable part of the job is making a differance.
