Not for the faint of heart
Route Sales (Former Employee), Los Angeles – May 5, 2013
It's great job for someone that's young (under 35) and single. You can really dedicate yourself without any worries and squash everyone in the monthly sales. Atleast that was the case for me. Management can be ugly and delusional. But you'll learn to brush them off and just do your thing. It's not for the faint of heart though. If you come from a spoiled – more... background of new rigs with AC and stuff. You will be sorely disappointed. It's a lot of heavy lifting with stressful traffic and sometimes off days with lots of rejection. You won't look or feel pretty at the end of the day. I worked with a guy who was only like 26 years old. He had 3 years with the company. He starting to look 46 to me. I've recently moved on. Putting my CDL to good use in the Bulk industry. – less

Great if your Desperate
Production Resource (Current Employee), Breinigsville PA – April 29, 2013
Pros: free water when you are work.
Cons: it's not dasani or aquafina.
Resources (Nestle Waters for "Supervisors") are required to work about 60 hours per week.
Typically if you are male and can work the 60+ you can be promoted.
You are required to carry and answer your phone at all times (incl. on vacation as well as PTO). Remember; it's 24/7! And it's complicated. It's bottled water.
You will work weekend duty. That – more... rotates though, so it only means giving up about 5 weekends per year.
So if that sounds like your kind of place, hit that apply button. – less

Pay is good! Communication with management, not so good.
Maintenance mechanic (Former Employee), Breinigsville, PA – April 24, 2013
Pros: good pay
Cons: long hours (12 hour shifts)
As long as the operators are doing their job, our job is simple. Something breaks, you fix it! I learned just how a manufacturing company works. Communication with management could have been a little better. If you told somebody something, by the time it got to the person it was supposed to, the statement had changed. Co-workers worked great together, – more... in and out of the plant. Hardest part of the job was trying to keep up with what was expected of us, but we did it. The people (employees) were the most enjoyable part of the job, – less

customer service rep
Sales Representative (Former Employee), Raynham, MA – April 11, 2013
Pros: everyday i learned something new.
Cons: the calls came one after the other, you would get maybe 15 sec before the next one came in.
Here I worked in a very fast paced call center. I was responsible to take orders for water, as well as try to upsell the customers on different products that we had. Aside from that I did some trouble shooting as well.

Lot's of money, but difficult to manage
Warehouse professional, forklift operator (Former Employee), Sacramento, ca – March 18, 2013
Pros: awesome people
Cons: mislead management
I worked there for a year and wasn't too surprise to understand why
people would rather work at a McDonald's. Seniority got treated unfairly, you got punished for every little mistake even though you were none knowing of the cause because the management was a humorous...No sense of direction, nor did the actual company upheld the value of the corporation – more... when it comes to class, culture and safety. If you want to work all the time though, it was the place, catch up on bills. – less

In need of shift change and more opportunities to do something else.
Lead Forklift Operator (Current Employee), El Monte, CA – March 9, 2013
Pros: benefits
Cons: night shift
A typical day at work starts off with a team meeting, reviewing last nights work for accuracy. Then load sheets for trucks are mapped out using a grocery forecast. Trucks are then gased, cleaned, organized, loaded by hand then by forklift. At the end, the system is updated with load sheet information. Warehouse/trucks/forklifts are maintained regularly.

Overall, – more... I've learned that attitude IS more essential to everyone and everything at the workplace, aside from actual skill. I believe in leading by personal example, keeping a positive attitude at ALL times. In doing so, other team mates follow and we all motivate eachother and work towards the same goal.

The hardest part of the job aside from the night shift schedule is the fact that hard work can sometimes get easily overlooked. There is little to no opportunities to do something else within the company. The most enjoyable part of the job is the sense of achievement via team work and strategy. – less

Challenging environment to build entrepenurial finance skills
Zone Finance/Business Manager, LA/Central Cal Zone (Current Employee), Chatsworth, CA – March 5, 2013
Pros: exposure to multiple levels of management/employees, contributed to both front-line employee success as well as bottom-line success.
Cons: payroll support, it limitations
Work was diverse allowing for all levels of management interaction and cross-functional support. Work-load was challenging ranging from month-end close to quarterly forecasting and annual budget, to day-to-day office management support.
Developed solid managerial skills.
Multi-task between direct management team and dotted-line management team to drive – more... results and meet deadlines – less

productive place to work with great management
Vending Coordinator/Assistant Manager (Former Employee), Los Angeles, CA – February 24, 2013
Pros: great management
Cons: not much growth potential
full day of counting money and problem solving. I learned to be accountable for my own actions. I learned how to build business relationships. I learned how to do commissions and inventory. O learned how to handle difficult customers and how to make them feel valued and understood. My co-workers were caring and positive. The hardest part about the job – more... was after a few years I was no longer challenged. The part I enjoyed the most is my boss gave me tools to succeed. He allowed me to fail and taught me how to learn from them. – less

Great products and name but leadership a joke
Route sales (Former Employee), Woodridge – January 9, 2013
Pros: great product and brand
Cons: poor leadership in delivery division. million vps that love themselves
Love the product and quality. Great recognition with customers and peers.
In the home and office division, Each year the leadership gets worse. Low integrity people get promoted. Many do not care how they get to a number in operations, sales or logistics. Lie, cheat or steal. Supposedly record numbers each year and business is going backwards- duh.
I – more... have seen many great leaders leave or get changed out for complete idiots. Division continues to consolidate. Everyone knows that the company is top heavy and you have to be in the boys network. Should be more jobs available due to many leaving. Don't put yourself through the disappointment.
Move bottles of water all day with someone over your back the entire time. UL's are ok but can not do much for you. Don't bother going up another level to speak – less

A powerful company with great success but lacks in culture
Project Manager (Former Employee), Raynham, MA – December 10, 2012
Pros: great benefits (401k, health and dental), wonderful group of people, opportunities for advancement
Cons: firm corporate culture, dated methods for communication
I was extremely fortunate to work for Nestle Waters; they provided me with great opportunities at a young age. I was able to advance quickly and develop friendships that will last for the rest of my life. The only downfall is the company's strong corporate culture. This seems to weaken productivity and increase front-line turnover. They also have dated – more... methods of communication, including an MS-DOS program that runs the majority of the company's internal structure. Aside from that, this was my most valuable and well-rounded work experiences. – less

HORRIBLE company to work for.
Controller (Former Employee), Denver, CO – December 9, 2012
Pros: decent benefits
Cons: everything besides some decent benifits
I was with Nestle for 6 years and let me tell you it was the worst job i've ever had. It was good the first year but every few years or less they change management and that is what's going to/IS bringing Nestle down. Not a good environment to be in at all. Management teams there suck and just live to destroy employees lives. If you're an operator, oh – more... man i feel sorry for you. Just over all this Company is no good. Expect to live at work and then get disciplined for OT. Niagara is taking over the water industry and now is my current employer. Stay away from Nestle if you have any morals and a family. – less
