MARKETING INTERN (Former Employee) – Oakland, CA – January 25, 2018
Net Impact is a nonprofit, and as a result has different challenges to working at a regular business. Budgetary constraints can dictate how a project runs and the scope of it. However, the work culture more than offsets this. Management is great, the work is flexible, coworkers are interesting, and career advancement is baked into the organization. At a nonprofit, to be successful you have to be serious about the cause of the organization, so that should be a deciding factor for anyone applying for a job at Net Impact.
Net Impact is a sustainability Group that works with companies to promote sustainable practices
Member of Net Impact (Former Employee) – San Marcos, TX – July 20, 2016
Net Impact provided me with many opportunities to grow as professional. It also provided me with great opportunities for internships. I learned a lot about being sustainability and actions to take to promote a sustainable environment. We would meet and be lectured by professionals in the sustainability industry. Also, we would do community service around San Marcos.
Executive Assistant to CEO (Former Employee) – San Francisco, CA – March 19, 2015
Very challenging role. I supported the CEO and it was very challenging to exceed expectations due to the lack of feedback or direction from the CEO or team. It was very uncomfortable to go to work and it felt like I was always walking on egg shells.
