Purpose of Position:

The Director, Operational Analysis & Forecasting leads a team of Operational Analysts responsible for working on strategic analyses related to the complex logistical operation of NetJets, and possesses a deep understanding of the NetJets Inc. operation worldwide. The Director, Operational Analysis & Forecasting is responsible for capacity planning, maintaining demand and sales forecast models and providing analytical support for the Product Development and Market Research teams.

The Director, Operational Analysis & Forecasting requires strong hands on analytics experience (SAS, statistical modeling etc.). The Director, Operational Analysis & Forecasting is responsible for maximizing the productivity/output of the analysis team. The Director, Operational Analysis & Forecasting leads large cross functional strategic projects, drives key analytical insights and aids in the translation of these insights into action.

The Director, Operational Analysis & Forecasting is heavily involved in the integrated strategic planning process for NetJets Inc. The Director, Operational Analysis & Forecasting regularly presents at the Executive Management Team level.

Responsibilities and Qualificiations:
60% Manages NetJets Inc. capacity planning function. Partners with other OA&A team members to complete analysis assignments as necessary. Develops a working technical and business knowledge of functional areas, sufficient to generate and validate new analyses that manage ever changing business requirements

15% Manage variable budget forecast, including Maintenance availability

15% Develops and maintains asset pricing information

10% Manages the development and performance of analysts' talent as well as career progression.

Master's Degree inBusiness Administration, Information Systems/Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Aviation or related field

8-10 years applicable experience

Strong independent strategic thinker-Strong team leadership and project management skill-Influencer and thought-leader-Experience with advanced modeling and big data projects (perferably with SAS) is required-Demonstrated experience with CxO level strategy assignments-Experience with advanced forecasting methods strongly preferred-Demonstrated successful manager with a track-record of developing analytical talent-Excellent communication and presentation, persuasion, and business case skills -Ability to lead and influence cross-functionally, with leadership, peers, and subordinates -Ability to think logically, analytically and creatively-Strong ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions-Excellent attention to detail-Possess the ability to manage multiple projects and meet/exceed deadlines-Displayed ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment
-Ability to effectively communicate and build effective relationships with internal and external customers
