Customer Service Representative (Former Employee) –  Miami, FLAugust 23, 2017
At first this company seems great to work for, young, fast paced, fun competition. But after a few weeks of being there you realize you have absolutely no job security unless you're sleeping with the boss, they are constantly looking for younger/ better employees, and the people who have been there for over a year are brainwashed.

Awful
Mortgage Loan Officer (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAAugust 22, 2017
While here, we were asked to write positive reviews after 4 days. They treat you well in those four days and then the fun begins. The fun of this, of course, is counting how many people quite this job each week. I suggest reading the bad reviews, with the most yes responses, they're accurate. Awful management, terrible training, requirements to pay them back for your license, degrading work environment for women. Truly not a place you want to have on your resume. It will make you look desperate and ghetto - which is actual feedback I received while interviewing with a well known mortgage banking company. Avoid this sweatshop style company.
Pros
Leaving the office, watching management make mistakes, counting the number of people who leave
Cons
Having their name on your license as a sponsor.

Great place to start in the industry!
Loan Officer (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAJuly 10, 2017
The call center environment is a rough time to transfer calls but as you do it more it starts to become kind of fun. The team hype is fun and one you finally become a loan officer you will be begging to go back to the call center because it starts to go downhill from there. This is my many LOs get their start here and bail, the company usually pays terribly to LOs and collect enough money for the nice office and beautiful receptionists.
Pros
great office! beautiful people!
Cons
terrible pay!

LOAN PROCESSOR (Former Employee) –  Irvine, caJune 13, 2017
Pressurized environment with continuous pressure from management to keep up with pace of newly conditionally approved loans. non uniformed understanding across departments leaving room for errors and dissatisfaction with loan applicants.

A highly energetic sales environment!
Contact Center Agent (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAMay 23, 2017
There are many things that I appreciated at Network Capital. It's a great environment for an individual who is just starting out in their career. It's a place to learn and master new skills, as well as perfect and strengthen old skills. Training covered exactly what was needed for the call center and coaching was always available for those who needed or wanted it. The managers walked the floor and were "hands on". Calls were also monitored and scored which was very helpful for improvement. It was awesome to have this kind of support, something you don't often see in corporate America. The company expects a lot from the employees; a lot of effort, time and commitment. If you follow directions, work hard and commit, you'll be fine in the call center. If you are questioning anything, the position, the industry or sales in general, this may not be the right place for you to be successful.
Pros
the training and coaching
Cons
the hourly wage

Great place to work
Software Developer (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAMay 16, 2017
Network Capital is a great place to work considering your work-life balance, and job culture. At least for us in the IT department, we had a fair amount of maintenance work going. The others were new development projects. Wouldn't say IT work was stressful but enough to keep workflow and rhythm going at this dynamic, quick-growing company.
Pros
Free coffee
Cons
Work hours constantly flutuates

Massive layoffs. Sugar-coating. Be wary.
Call Center Representative/Mortgage banker (Former Employee) –  IrvineMay 15, 2017
You start off at the call center, cold calling. There are promises of making six-figures, promotions, success. Nope. Please do not assume it will come easy. Management is very good at sugar-coating your future at NC. Once you work in the call center and transfer enough people to the sales floor, you are admitted into the banking class -they make you sign a promissory note for the class (YOUR LO LICENSE IS NOT FREE) with the condition that you have to stay at the company for six months (rare for some folks since they fire people constantly for "not meeting quotas") to be able to have that fee waived. The license is only "free" as long as you work for the company. The sales floor is ridiculous. I found he-doublesticks on earth here. Anyway, only one MB will be retained, everyone else will be fired from each LO class. If you can somehow succeed in this environment, props to you. However, I highly advise you to not bother subjecting yourself to this negative environment. It's horrid. This is an atrociously slimy environment.

It's a dead end job. There's no training or development. "Sink or swim" culture
Specialist (Former Employee) –  Irvine, CAApril 21, 2017
The department I worked for was incredibly unprofessional. Lots of profanity were used. Supervisor was mostly moody and always on edge. "He must really hates his job."
Pros
Occasional free lunches, free drinks
Cons
Small kitchen, only 2 microwaves causing long waits, the supervisor's unpressionalism

Bad management. Carless and unable to provide job security. Disappointments regularly and a waste of time. They don't pay very well and there seems to be a insecure staff. Good work might not be recognized.
