A good mix of office and field work
SENIOR DISTRIBUTION MANAGER (Former Employee), Greenville, SCAugust 28, 2013
Pros: working outside
Cons: too many reports that weren't necessary for a productive operation.
I would normally spend two days in the office catching up on reports, entering data and printing route sheets. The other 3 days I would audit the drivers, replace any displays that needed upgrading and open new locations.

Unstable, Discriminates against older workers
Ad Manager (Former Employee), Atlanta, GAApril 16, 2012
Pros: people are nice
Cons: hate older workers, unstable, dying business, insurance awful
Work for 10 years, build division, get fired because you are older, cost too much to insure, and can be replaced easily by younger people now that all hard work done. Most every person laid off was over – more... 40. They have laid off hundreds of employees in the last few years (went from 1,100 employees to 300) Insurance is AWFUL!! Very expensive monthly and you have a $5k deductible. Most systems are very old and clunky. Very political and "ol' boy" culture. Very limited advancement. CEO left and only matter of time until bankrupt. Business is dying. Stay away! – less
