T1 Repair (Current Employee), Salt Lake City, UTApril 25, 2015
Pros: overtime when i want it
Cons: I am always the last to know anything important
A typical day at work:
*I help to trouble shoot T1, PRIs and DSL systems and coordinate with carriers to resolve trouble the customer is experiencing
What you learned:
*I have learned how to be patient and sympathetic to customer and how many different telecom systems work
Management:
*Management is minimal unless needed but willing to assist in situations that are beyond our control
Your – more... co-workers:
*My coworkers are fun to work with and very helpful we all work together as a team
The hardest part of the job:
*I work on a weekend after hours shift and there are times when I am unable to help someone due the unavailability for some carrier after hours
The most enjoyable part of the job:
*Getting all or as many site as possible up and running error free, I like it when everything is doing what it is supposed to be doing – less
