Supplemental Instructor, Aston, PA - July 18, 2016
After I excelled in statistics my freshman year at Neumann University, I was chosen by my professor to be a supplemental instructor (SI). I attended a statistics class to provide extra help and answer students’ questions during class. I worked closely with the professor to provide an enhanced education experience for students. Outside of the classroom I provided five hours of tutoring each week for any student in need of extra statistics help at the university. While tutoring, I was able to break down complicated problems into simpler terms. Working as a SI was a great experience and I feel Neumann was able to prepare me for working in a team environment.
