About New York Community Bank

Banking at New York Community Bank is more than a convenience - it's a tradition that dates back to 1859! That's when our first branch was opened, on Broadway in Flushing, under the name Queens County Savings Bank.

A lot of years have passed since then and, with them, we've seen many changes - but not in our commitment to service or to our community.
 – more... We're still very much a community bank, but now with 108 branches and a customer convenience center serving the greater metro New York region under the names of the following divisional banks:

Queens County Savings Bank serves the Borough of Queens with 17 traditional and eight in-store branches, and also operates 2 traditional branches in Nassau County. Richmond County Savings Bank, founded in 1886, serves Staten Island and Brooklyn with 23 banking locations, including four convenient supermarket branches and a customer convenience center. First Savings Bank of New Jersey, founded in 1889, has four branches in New Jersey's Hudson County. CFS Bank, also founded in 1889, has a traditional branch in Suffolk County and 40 in-store branches, open every Monday through Sunday, in Brooklyn, the Bronx, Manhattan, Long Island, Westchester County and New Jersey. South Jersey Bank, founded in 1950, has eight branches serving Atlantic, Camden, Gloucester, and Ocean counties, New Jersey. Ironbound Bank, founded in 1988, serves customers through five local branches in New Jersey's Essex and Union counties. We invite you to become a member of the New York Community Banking family, and to enjoy the convenience of banking with New York's premier community bank. – lessMore from ZoomInfo »
