The television industries leading weekly multimedia brands Broadcast & Cable and Multichannel News are looking for an ad sales representative to sell across multiple brands and multiple platforms for print, online, and events. Responsibilities include ability to sell print, digital and event sponsorships, servicing clients and meeting territory goals. This position includes travel. The candidate must work well with others, be driven, a self-starter, detail oriented, and a team-player.
This is an ideal position for someone looking to build their career in advertising sales that has 2-4 years magazine publishing experience. The ability to work in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment is highly desirable. Will also consider recent college grads who have a strong interest and/or internship in publishing or media. Sales experience selling for on-line advertising and sponsorship sales for 1 day conferences a plus. Must have excellent follow-through and good presentation skills as well as a hands on approach. Experience with MS office and the ability to learn new software quickly.
