Newton Consulting was founded in 2003 by Rick Newton, a highly successful consulting professional with more than 20 years of progressive experience integrating and managing information technology.
Rick saw the continuing unmet opportunity within the marketplace for flexible delivery of premium IT consulting services that were tailored to client needs and budgets. He envisioned an organization that embodied the professionalism, integrity, attention to customer service, and shared sacrifice and reward he believed in so strongly. He wanted to create a healthy and productive work environment where strong relationships were formed with clients and employees. He also believed that this could be done while maintaining a balance between work and family life, and wanted to offer that, as well, to others.
So with a simple, yet powerful, vision of what professional consulting could and should be, Newton Consulting was established.
Within the next three years after its founding, Newton Consulting quickly grew to 13 employees and 15 subcontractors, providing exceptional IT services to a growing number of clients.
Recognizing that people are the most valuable resource in successful organizations, Newton Consulting added a recruiting service line in 2007, and in 2008 acquired a benefits consulting practice. Together these services comprise the HR Division of Newton Consulting, complementing the premier IT Division.
Based on the strong foundation of its mission, vision, and values, Newton Consulting has grown to a team of 40 employees and more than 30 subcontractors today.
