A typical day at this company may or may not include: a verbal lashing from the company owner, berating in front of colleagues, spinning of wheels, paranoid ramblings from company owner, micromanagement of your accounts by company owner, complete emasculation.
This is not exaggeration, nor is it one person's isolated experience. During my short and miserable tenure, I saw examples of this behavior on a daily basis. One executive walked out in exasperation one day. Two more, who had longstanding relationships with the owner, left after just a few years, bridges in flames.
I'm told it wasn't always like this - that it used to be a fun place to work. But something happened - a mental break? - and the company has been struggling ever since under paranoid and schizophrenic ownership.
